Is there anywhere where users have posted their best times? I would like to compare how I'm doing with other experienced players.

Try www.websudoku.com . There you can compare your times against other players at different difficulty levels.

Thanks but that's not what I meant - I was referring to the Pappocom s/w version only. I thought that this forum was mainly related to that particular version. Am I wrong? Is this a generic Sudoku forum? And if so, was it once only a forum for the Pappocom game?

So many questions........!

Nope, this forum is not Pappocom only. It is and has always been a generic sudoku forum. It was indeed started by Pappocom, but it is no longer owned by him.
