As far as I am aware the only cells that must not overlap in an ALS chain are the cells containing the restricted common digit in directly linked ALSs.

ie for my move the cells containing digit 2 in ALSs 1 & 2 must not overlap and must see each other. Ditto for the cells containing digit 6 in ALSs 2 & 3.
