You must realize that if you have a particular puzzle that's causing you trouble, you need to determine first the source of the puzzle.
If the particular puzzle that's causing you trouble is from a newpaper column supplied by Pappocom, then post in "Pappocom papers".
If the particular puzzle that's causing you trouble is from a book by Pappocom, then post in "Sudoku Books from Pappocom".
If the particular puzzle that's causing you trouble is a non-Pappocom puzzle or comes from some other source, then
??? I would have guessed post in "Non-Pappocom", but Pat says post in "Help with particular puzzles".
Don't know why. But certainly "Help with particular puzzles" seems like a good place to get help with particular puzzles.
Is this all clear and logical in your mind?
I would suggest telling all people who have problems with a particular puzzle to post in "Help with particular puzzles". It is confusing to be obliged to post requests for help with a particular puzzle elsewhere while staring at "Help with particular puzzles" which might be taboo.
Another solution, (assuming all that distinction is necessary) is to change the name "Sudoku: the puzzle" to "Sudoku: never published anywhere".
