A SIMPLE SOLUTION TO SODUKA

Postby Tony Ainslie » Fri May 27, 2005 11:48 am

For each box in the 9x9 grid enter all possible numbers that could be placed in each box
Then check each row or Column or 3x3 grid for any number that occurs only once amongst the nine.
This unique number is the number for that box.
Continue this process until all boxes have been filled in.
This method requires no skill or logical deduction so it is best forgoten.

What do you expect from someone who cannot spell the name of the puzzle?

Why post this at all if you know it should be forgotten. Also, 'forgotten' is spelt wrongly.

(No offence)

I have a similar theory with The Times crossword, in that if you
randomly put the letters a thru z in any position throughout the crossword,
you can, and I´ve proved this theory many times, complete it in less
than 60 seconds. I chose not to use this method, because it takes away the fun.

I don't understand how that works. That sounds a bit unlikely to me (am I being naïve?
