It would be great to receive feedback on the solver we put online at
http://www.sudokucorner.com.

NOTE! Try the online Java applet version http://www.sudokucorner.com/playapplet.html , there's no solver functionality in the freeware desktop version.

I tried to test the solver, but I wasn't very successful. The applet didn't load at all because of a version error (java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: sudokuApplet/MainClass (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)). I then tried the javascript version, but I don't understand how it is supposed to work. I could fill in some numbers, even though it was arduous with all the mouse clicking, but when I pressed "Show solution" everything disappeared. I then downloaded the program (free version), and the installation seems fine. But when I start it, I only get a frame with some meny options, and nothing more shows. Something seems to be going on though, because the processor is busy.

In summary, much needs to be done. Even my own java solver is better, although it won't be really good yet for a few months.

Note: I have Windows XP, and I tried both IE and Opera with Java 1.4.2.
