Solve the following sudoku. Then
use the key below to replace numbers
with letters of the alphabet to reveal
the hidden message.

Code: Select all
.2.|8..|1..
..4|.1.|2..
.7.|2..|..4
---+---+---
.4.|..1|..3
9..|..3|..7
5..|72.|.9.
---+---+---
.3.|...|7..
7..|...|..2
..9|6.7|.8.

A=43 B=36 C=38 D=51 E=34
F=59 G=94 H=89 I=98 J=45
K=19 L=64 M=73 N=37 O=17
P=15 Q=79 R=32 S=25 T=52
U=41 V=69 W=65 X=68 Y=76

Note: If a 2-digit number is not in the key, repeat
the letter before it, skip the FIRST DIGIT, and continue.
So, for example: 893464217 reads "HELLO"

Cheers!

Thanks Bob!

A good-spirited contribution to the forum.

And thanks for including a little something in the puzzle
for the entomologists in the group!:D

Thank you for the (for me) VERY difficult puzzle. No, I won't divulge how long it took.:)

Even the solution was difficult. Ahh, the gift that keeps on giving.

They were puzzles that required me to angle my mind around them.

PS. Same to you and yours.

i must be doing something wrong, but an online solver solves the puzzle using some contradictions and when one unscrambles the numbers i get
the following message:

rxxuf happy otvve lqqp23 iijbo dnnli aak27w ypcgg sslm81.

i have checked the puzzle twice and still get the same solution, so any:idea: 's
