Like in https://www.sudokuwiki.org/WXYZ_Wing second example there the 5 is not needed in the hinge cell.
All cells that see all the 5 in the wings can eliminate candidate 5.

In the sudokuwiki example the 1 can't be twice, so either all of 1234 must be in the 4 cells, or 4 is twice. In both cases x can't be 4.

Added: Note, that in all those samples 3 digits are locked to a unit and only the one to eliminate can be twice in the 4 cells.

Code is OK, The error was between my ears.
From the "initial situation after Basics" to the "Golden nugget WXYZ-wing" there were more eliminations.
If these eliminations does not interfere with the WXYZ-Wing this method stays valid.
But there was a r2c3<>3. Manually I overlooked this elimination. So my method is invalid.
My above post is edited as faulty.
