Sudoku is a game normally played by one person. But on Facebook is a real-time 2 player Sudoku App called Challenger Sudoku. It allows to people to challenger each other to a game of Sudoku in REAL TIME. The game play is quite sweet. Its a points based game. You have to hunt down the points more than just finish 1st. Its very responsive as well and you can get feedback from your challanger during the game as well so you can see how they are doing but not what they are putting in. At the moment, I've moved up to Sensei! Oh, you all start off as students!

Hey guys. The Challenger Sudoku App went LIVE yesterday and I've had a lot of battles and won enough games to move up to Senpai. Check it out, all feedback welcome.

Hi guys, I’ve had Challenger Sudoku out for a while now and all the bugs have been ironed out. Challenger Sudoku is a Real-Time 2 player Sudoku App.

It allows you to logon on to the App in Facebook and challenge other people logged on to LIVE games of Sudoku.

The aim is to get as much points as possible. Its all about points. Correct entries get you 9 points, incorrect entries loose you 7 points to your player so no guessing. Complete a main square 1st (a main square is 9 individual squares) and you get 30 bonus points. That main square is now yours and turns blue on your screen and red on your challengers screen in Real-Time and you challenger no longer get points for entering numbers in that main square. When your challenger completes that same main square after you, they get no bonus points because you took that main square 1st and they get no correct entries in that main square because you owned it and turned it your colour which is blue. The same for row and columns, 15 bonus points. Same for 3 green bonus squares worth 40 points each.

Remember, this is a real-time 2 player App so all these points are on a 1st come 1st served basis, once the bonus points are gone, they are gone.



Games normally last about 2-4mins, depending how quickly you win, or how fast you are beaten, Knocked Out or Annihilated, yes Annihilated! There are 3 win types, Standard Win, K.O. and Annihilation depending on how great your win is or loss is. Colours on the Sudoku game grid indicate what you own. Blue means you own those squares, red means you was to slow and your challenger took ownership of these squares before you. Don’t bother filling in the red main squares or rows or columns that have red squares at the end, your challenger beat you to them and there are no points to be gained there! Look for what you can turn blue, that’s where the points are and this is a points game.

Remember this is a FAST competitive game. Be quicker than you challenger, grab those points, and get better at Sudoku.

It allows 2 people to challenged each other on the same board at the same time and the aim is to control the board before your challenged does and you get points for this. It seems there are quite a few multiplayer Sudoku Apps out there but only 1 or 2 are Live play real-time apps. So what makes a good 2 player Sudoku App??

I'm sure a guy who uses one technique would like to take on a challenger in Sudoku who uses another Sudoku technique. See who has the best technique.
