Re: Puzzle 41

Postby P.O. » Wed May 18, 2022 4:19 pm

thank you for your answers, at the moment i try the Patterns Game puzzles whose rating are around 9.0, i check that there is no antibackdoor after basics so at least two more eliminations are necessary to solve them, the first being not basic;
i try to find a solution with two chains that are neither too long nor too complex, the complexity i am talking about being the integration of basic patterns in the links, also the algorithm i use is not designed to find contradictions;
(with reference to Sudoku Explainer rating, Dynamic Forcing Chains(+), the dynamic character, though somewhat still obscure to me, seems to be what is otherwise called memorization, the (+) being the use of basic patterns as links, are actually the type of chains that i do.)
if two chains are not enough i look for three or four at most, more than that does not seem suitable to me to be proposed here; with these constraints i have to test many puzzles before finding one that suits, so i guess the ones i post are the easiest and fewest in this category of difficulty.

my solution:
Code: Select all
1r5c236 => r2c5 <> 34
 r5c2=1 - r5n2{c2 c9} - c8n2{r4 r3} - c8n8{r3 r6} - r5n8{c7 c3} - r5n6{c3 c4} - c5n6{r4 r2}
 r5c3=1 - r5n8{c3 c7} - c8n8{r6 r3} - c8n2{r3 r4} - r5n2{c9 c2} - r5n6{c2 c4} - c5n6{r4 r2}
 r5c6=1 - c5n1{r6 r2}

PAIR ROW: ((2 5 2) (1 6)) ((2 8 3) (1 6))
(((2 1 1) (1 5 6)) ((2 4 2) (3 4 5 6 7)) ((2 6 2) (1 3 4 5 7)) ((2 9 3) (1 3 4 6 7 9)))

( n5r2c1 )

QUAD ROW: ((7 1 7) (7 8)) ((7 5 8) (3 4 8)) ((7 8 9) (3 4)) ((7 9 9) (3 4 7))
(((7 2 7) (3 5 9)) ((7 3 7) (5 7 9)))

167r9c3 => r5c2 <> 2
 r9c3=1 - c8n1{r9 r2} - c5n1{r2 r6} - r5n1{c6 c2}
 r9c3=6 - c8n6{r9 r2} - c5n6{r2 r4} - r5n6{c4 c2}
 r9c3=7 - r7c1{n7 n8} - c5n8{r7 r3} - r3c8{n8 n2} - c9n2{r1 r5}
